Pastoral Care and Visitation
If you would like to meet with someone for conversation and prayer, please call the church office at (616) 245-8726 to set up an appointment with one of our pastors.
Pastor Mary Bouwma (firstname.lastname@example.org) regularly visits senior members who are limited in their ability to meet with us for worship, communion, or other activities. Please contact her with any questions.
Life Groups are a new form of small group coming to Seymour Church. Life Groups emphasize authentic community, nurturing relationships, and mutual discipleship, along with a shared intentional mission.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) is an international group that meets in smaller clusters in various churches, coffee shops, homes, etc. If you have at least one child under the age of 5 and love meeting together with fellow mamas to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly of parenthood, look no further! We meet regularly to connect, grow, and laugh together, and welcome all! Come as you are.
Our regular meetings are the 1st Friday morning of each month (9:15-11:15, childcare included) and the 3rd Thursday night of each month (7:00-9:30, no childcare), with play dates and moms-night-outs in between. For more information on what MOPS is, visit www.mops.org, and to find out more info about our group in particular, please visit our facebook page: www.facebook.com/SeymourMOPS. We hope you join us!
Pacesetters Senior Ministry
Our vibrant Pacesetters ministry is for all Seymour seniors. We have fun weekly fellowship events such as coffee and donuts, hymn sings, and breakfasts together. Check our calendar of events to join us for our next meet-up! Contact Pastor Shawn (email@example.com) with any questions.
Sunday Bible Studies & Programs
Parents/guardians in need of child care during Sunday adult Bible studies for children ages birth through first grade are welcome to drop their children off in the downstairs nursery for After Worship Childcare. Older children are invited to join one of our children’s ministries or youth ministries that take place at the same time.
The Commons is meant to be a time of reflection and encouragement as we discuss how to practically apply and live out our calling as Christians. Discussion is based on the morning’s sermon, so no extra preparation is needed. All are welcome! Contact Pastor Brian (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
