Our newly remodeled infant and toddler nursery provides a safe atmosphere of love and care for our littlest ones.
We have separate, age-appropriate sections for toddlers and for infants.
Each child must be signed in by a parent or guardian.
Parents are asked to label any personal items the child might bring to nursery.
Pagers are available upon request.
Little Lambs (ages 2-4)
Toddlers and young preschoolers are introduced to Bible stories about God and his Son Jesus using a play-centered approach full of songs, crafts, free play time, and a healthy snack. Little Lambs is led by a team of dedicated and nurturing teachers during Sunday morning worship.
Children’s Worship (preschool – 1st grade)
Children in 4s preschool, kindergarten, and first grade join their parents for the first part of the main sanctuary worship, and are then invited for Children’s Worship in our downstairs centers for songs, story object lessons, and a variety of meaningful response activities.
AFTER SUNDAY WORSHIP (10:50AM-11:45AM)
After Worship Extended Care (birth–1st grade)
After the main worship service, childcare is offered in the downstairs nurseries for children birth through 1st grade so that parents have an opportunity to attend either The Commons, Adult Bible Studies, or choir practice, or to give parents an opportunity to help in other children’s or youth ministries during that hour.
G.R.A.C.E. Growing Radically As Christ’s Explorers (grades 2-6)
Grades 2-5 use The Gospel Project curriculum, children are immersed chronologically in the gospel to learn that the Bible is not just a collection of stories but one unified story—God’s story of redemption. A variety of interactive learning techniques is used in multi-grade small groups.
Students in Grade 6 use the rfour curriculum which, through the use of interactive activities, Bible study, and movie clips, instructs these youth on how to be disciples of Jesus and how to participate in the Kingdom of God. These age-appropriate lessons serve as a transition time from The Gospel Project curriculum to the Heidelberg Catechism lessons of the BLAST (middle school) group.
G.R.A.C.E. meets following the morning worship form 10:50am – 11:45am.
The Rainbow Kids Children’s Choir sings during morning worship in the main sanctuary approximately 7-8 times a year. Every other Wednesday (before supper on WAS nights), children begin with a time of simple devotions and prayer before learning and practicing songs through repetition and interactive games. If you have any questions or are interested in joining, please contact Lori Schreur at (email@example.com).
Kingdom Kids (4s preschool and kindergarten) 6:15-7:45pm WAS Nights
The goal of Kingdom Kids is to provide our 4s preschool and kindergarten children with a foundation for understanding God and His kingdom through Bible stories, crafts, songs, games, and visits from our “Grampy Gramps” puppet. Kingdom Kids meets in the Little Lambs room, downstairs next to the nursery.
GEMS & Jr GEMS Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior (grades 1-8) 6:15-7:45pm WAS Nights
GEMS envisions a world where girls everywhere are actively and enthusiastically expressing love for God and others. Girls will learn how to love and care for one another, other people, ourselves, and our relationship with God. The night begins with a time of praise and worship in the sanctuary, followed by small group time by age in the downstairs Fellowship Hall. Girls will get to participate in fun badge work, Bible lessons, unique crafts, service projects (both inside and outside their small group), and team/relationship building. All are welcome to join—GEMS is open to the community! For questions or to register, please contact Kim through the office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cadets & Jr Cadets (grades 1-8) 6:15-7:45pm WAS Nights
With over 600 clubs around the world, the Calvinist Cadets seeks to share Christ’s love with boys in the church and community. They begin the night with a time of praise and worship in the sanctuary with the GEMS and then proceed to the upstairs Cadets rooms for a time of team building, landmarks, and announcements. Boys in grade 1-3 stay active with Bible lessons, badge work, and crafts, while boys in grades 4-8 have two options each night: 1) a woodworking/outdoors skill-building type activity or 2) a technical/trades type activity. Other activities include archery, blacksmithing, rocket launching, and 3D printing! Cadets also have the option to become certified to attend the International Cadet Camporee, held every three years. Seymour Cadets is open to the community, and all are welcome to join! Please contact Lori at email@example.com with any questions or to register.
