One of the most basic questions, if not the most basic --- "Who is God?" Join us as we ask this question together by looking at the parables that Jesus tells in the Gospels to try to help us understand who God really is.
In our last series, we learned from Jesus about who God is. Now, as the second part of a double series, we ask how understanding who God is helps us now to understand who we are.
Life is uncertain and scary, and you have to trust in something. But what are those things we put our trust in instead of God? Join us this Lent as we repent and reflect on our War Horses, and learn how God can overcome our fears and how faith can empower us to live as witnesses of His strength in our broken world.
How is the Church meant to be in the world but not of it? What does that even mean? How, as Christians, are we called to engage in society. Join us as we look to the story of the early church in the book of Acts for guidance on how we are meant to live out our callings as followers of Jesus right here, right now.
Have you ever felt like your faith life was on autopilot? Do you have a desire to grow in your relationship with God? During this series, we will look at different "mountaintop experiences" with God in the Bible as we journey together seeking "Sacred Heights."
When you hear about the great story of salvation, do you see yourself as a part of that story? In your day-to-day life, do you feel that you are contributing to God's kingdom, or do you feel cut off and isolated from the pageant of worship on Sunday morning? Join us as we see how God works in and through the faithfulness of everyday relationships, cumbersome bureaucratic laws, and even cultural prejudice to bring redemption not just to Ruth, but to all of us.
Encounters with the Risen Lord
Join us as we celebrate God's work throughout the world during our Mission Emphasis weeks.
Christmastime is supposed to be all about JOY! We sing "Joy to the World," our days are supposed to be merry and bright, with celebrations and decorations and family. But what is true joy? And why do we often feel like it is so lacking in our lives? Join us this Advent season as we talk about why the birth of Jesus really is a cause for joy for all people. We'll see how the joy of Christ can be brought into all the areas of our lives --- our families, our work, times of struggle, and our worship.
