Seymour Church is blessed to be partnering with Feeding America West Michigan to host four Mobile Food Pantry perishable food distributions here this year. These are held in our parking lot on Saturdays. Registration starts at noon; distribution of food begins at 1:00 PM and goes until 2:00 PM, or ends earlier if food is gone.
Our guests are neighbors from all walks of life. Some have lost their jobs, while others have jobs that just don’t give them enough to pay the bills each month. Some are having health problems and cannot work. All are loved by Jesus and need a helping hand. By giving them food, we are helping them like Jesus asked us to.
This ministry depends on a number of volunteers. If you are interested in sorting and handing out food, helping neighbors select/carry/load groceries, or help with set-up or clean up, you may call the church office at (616) 245-8726 or info@seymourchurch.org.
